Custom Home using Superior Wall foundation and Enercept SIP’s
I have just started construction of 3000 SF custom home in Malvern, PA West of Philadelphia. 10′ Superior Wall xI foundation was installed last week. Delivery of Enercept SIPS is expected in about 2 weeks. Anyone have any experience using Superior Walls and Enercept structural panels. Thanks John

With Superior Walls, people seem to either love them or hate them. Doesn't seem to be much middle ground.
The only thing I know to check on them is to make sure the seams are tight and they're plumb. Check them again after backfill.
Custom Home with Superior Walls and SIPS
I finished my own house a 18 months ago using Superior Walls and SIPS. They are a perfect marriage. Both Systems are manufactured in climate controlled conditions based off of CAD designs. I only needed to Trim ONE SIP panel 1/2" (out of 3800 SF of panels) to get everything to fit on the foundation. With Superior Walls there are no high or low spots and the framers love setting the plates and building the deck off of these foundations.
I would recommend a rainscreen for your exterior finish application to ensure the longtime longevity of the SIPS.

Superior has been installed and have been completeing basement and garage slab, 2 sets of Block steps to the outside and geting ready to intall deck and backfill next week. Panels will be delivered after a snow delay in South Dakota where Enercept is located. If you don't mind, what manufacturer did you buy your SIPS from? I will most lokely become an area rep for Enercept after this house is complete.
Thanks

I have only seen a handfull of the Superior Wall foundations. I have not seen many problems, but most were not braced at the top according to the manufacturer's requirements (at the walls parallel to the joists). I have not seen any SIP construction.
