Looking for any advise or ideas on how to cut 3/4 granite slab on site ,I can not find portable bridge saw to rental, hire etc, I was told of saw similiar to portable panel saw but can not find. I have portable wet worm saw (like skil 77)for small cuts, but have to do 8-10′ cuts very straight, any one have luck doing this with two straight edges etc. thanks for any ideas

Guess what I was doing today?
that's right , cutting two inch granite. I used a diamond blade saw (they are available at most rental houses) It looks like a chain saw with with a circular blade on it. I used a straight piece of wood clamped to the slab as my guide and in a few (noisy) minutes it was done. Piece of cake!
