Source control, ventilation, and filtration are the keys to healthy indoor air quality. Dehumidification is important too.

They're not bad for cutting foam, but would likely be very slow going cutting vinyl siding. You'd do better (faster and with a neater edge) with a hand saw.
cutting vinyl siding
Cutting vinytl siding with a foam cutter is not a good idea due to the fumes given off by vinyl siding that is burnt during the process. I personally use a thin curf plywood blade in a circular saw but put in backwards. You get clean cuts with no color distortion that you get trying to cut vinyl siding with a foam cutter.
Everyone I know uses a slide compound saw. You can stack a half dozen pieces and cut all at once for areas between windows, etc. On long runs, the cut end always is covered by a factory end. The saw is great for corners, J channels and other trim. No special blade needed.
I use a Van Mark Trim-A-Table. It is made for cutting siding, pivots to a 3/12 pitch. Good clean cuts, saves a ton of time.
