L shaped porch, deeper on one leg than the other.
Open to the weather, with a history of rapid decay setting in at the exposed endgrain with the flooring run all the same direction…(some on the long grain edges as well…either it wasn’t preprimed well, or it was inferior fir stock….)
Would you herringbone the flooring at the corner until the thin leg is to the wall and then butt the rest of it on the fat leg ?

We have run a diagonal piece (or pieces, depending) between the legs if it doesn't look to weird. Looks better if the width of the legs are close...
we've also run the decking so the legs hit at a 45° miter, and just continued the narrow leg around the corner into the big leg...or put a planter there<G>
