In Fall of 2006 I treated all of our decks and railings of pressure treated wood (built the previous year so relatively dry) with Olympic Cedernatural toner. In fall of 2007 I put second coat on decks on south side. Was about tp put another coat on all decks this year but problem is that they have all darkened and turned a dirty mid brown color. Doesn’t matter whether they are exposed to sun or not and additional deck I put on last year with a coat last fall is turning the same color.
Question is what can I do, short of stripping everything, to make the appearence fresher and more natural insteated of looking like someone dumped a can of brown stain on them? Would solid stain work better? Am I better of with other than Olympic? TIA

You maybe could have success washing it with deck brightener. May help. Maybe ask Olympic what they think. They may have good advice, or may refund you some money or something!
Thak you. As you suggested I contacted Olympic and they tell me we used about 3 times too much! Only remedy is to use their stain stripper and they are sending a voucher. Thanks for tip.
Glad it worked out--sometimes the manufacturer does care aboput the customer and will do right by him! Good to see.
