I’m recovering from some injuries and, to kill time for a few weeks, am trying to research some of the tools I am interested in.
I was in Lowe’s a few days before I got hurt and saw a Delta DEL36136 miter saw stand. I bought a DeWalt DW718 12″ slider about a month ago and wish to get a good stand for it. The Delta looks good and seems to be reasonably priced at $169. Does anyone have this stand or have any experience with one? What do you think of it?

It would work ok except those little wheels will need to be replaced with a larger diameter if you plan on moving it around a lot to sites.
Check to see how the slider will mount to the stand to see if it will be balanced ok and not be top heavy either way.
Probably make a nice lathe stand?Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

Either Lowe's or HD has the DeWalt stand for $150... we've had one for about 3 years... very portable, pretty good supports, and holds up to daily jobsite abuse... well, except for the rubber feet.

Winterlude, it's makin' me lazy,
Come on, sit by the logs in the fire.
The moonlight reflects from the window
Where the snowflakes, they cover the sand.
Come out tonight, ev'rything will be tight,
Winterlude, this dude thinks you're grand.
