The sprocket for the feeder roller drive chain on my Delta TP305 jumps a chain link when the drive load increases. The chain is too long. What to do?

Boy, would I be pissed!
Delta parts supplier show damn near everything for that planer to be “no longer available”.
They should be ashamed of themselves. Either the chain has stretched or the sprocket is worn? What’s the odds of finding a chain of same specs and changing length with a coupling?
Or
Would they have a newer model utilizing those same parts and don’t show em available across another model?
You might call a place that sells ball bearings, pulleys and the like. The ones I'm familiar with also sell drive chain and sprockets. If you cornered a knowledgeable salesman he might tell you how to proceed.
You might also look and see if your sprocket has a lot of ''play'' to see if the issue isn't something other than worn drive surfaces.
Adjust the tension on the chain. There are 2 gear sprockets. One (right one) can be moved to tighten the tension. Easy and basic stuff. You can do it.

Not on the TP305.
Actually, the TP305 has 3 gear sprockets. See page 15, Fig. 30 of the Instructional Manual.
