I just purchased a Delta Unisaw with a 30″ Biesemeyer fence. It was a return because of damage to the switch bracket. Small problem. It has not 2 but 4 cast iron table extensions and the wood extension for the Biesemeyer. I am debating on just using the 4 cast iron extensions and pitching the wood table extension. I paid just $850. for it. I now have to get rid of my Powermatic contractors saw. New they are listing for over 1,000. You think 400 to 500 would be a good price?

For the 64A, that's probably a decent price. You'll probably not get much more than that for it anyways.
Check out Woodnet forums, they have a buy and sell, or just use Craigslist.

I will probably post it on Craigs list. I never have been to woodnet. I might check it out. I need to get the stick on tape measure for the Vega fence thats on it. Also the plastic hair line is kind of chipped up.
Thanx for the info.
FYI for any older Unisaw owners who are missing the "goose egg" motor covers - there's a guy on the woodnet forums that has started to fabricate some that are exact duplicates of the original metal covers made of fiberglass resin and he's selling them for about $115 or so each. The original metal Goose-egg style covers sell on Ebay for upwards of $250 or so sometimes, but even at that they are a rare find.JT
I hate so appear ignorant but I have an older Unisaw and was wondering - what are the goose egg covers? Thanks
The one I have has a plastic or it may be fiberglass motor cover. My last Unisaw had a beach towel held on with magnets. Mine was about 30 years old and I tried everything to get one at a reasonable price.
Use the lam/wood extension on the right, and use one of the extensions on the left of the blade for better support.
