Has anyone used this…..I am looking at buying one as I have some crown molding to put up and look like the real ticket… please advise.
I have seen other post regarding the bosch mitrefinder I would buy the bosch if I were to use it enough but for just an occasional use I can’t justify the $100 + sticker price.

yeh, I believe it is a bosch knock off. I just want to know if it is as accurate or if anyone has purchased one and had any problems.
As far as the baby grand dilemma, it is going to take more than a $30.00 tool. I told her that i wanted this in lieu of the ice fishing chair she got for me for x-mas.
I am coming up $20 bucks short on that deal too....just can't win!!!
had never heard of it till you posted on it...
I have the Bosch...
if you have to barter with the DW....... WTB that will fly like lead balloon...

I have one and it works fine, no issues. I've seen what looks to be the same thing at Harbor Freight for about $25.
i've got the harbor freight one worked really well till i spilled a qt of stain on it,haven't tried it since that fiassco. larryif a man speaks in the forest, and there's not a woman to hear him,is he still wrong?
thanks for the vote of confidence, I saw this one on Ebay and was curious if it compared to the bosch.
I think I will be getting a new tool real soon.
thanks again.

I checked this when someone pulled up the Harbor Freight protractor. It is not like the bosch.
It will give you the angle digitally, but has no readout on the bevel and mitre settings according to the entered spring angle.
If you cut crown on the flat you will need the complete settings table for bevel and mitre.

Sure looks a lot more expensive than a slding t-bevel and a protractor. How accurate can you set your saw on the first try? Seems to me there will still be fine tuning at the saw to get the angle just so if that degree of accuracy is required.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it might be easier to find the angle your trying to match but you still have to cut the piece correctly.
