I am a building/remodeling contractor desparately seeking a Macintosh
compatible design program. I have found programs that are incredibly
complicated and expensive. I just want to make simple elevations, wall
cross-sections, drawings of decks, etc.. I am now using a $35 art program
from the stone age (1991) which works alright. I want something more
advanced than that but not so technical as to require a advanced degree.

I use Canvas. Its not a CAD program but has some CAD like features.
