Squirrels I hate them. One just destroyed a rack return on the 2nd floor of the house. What bait should use to capture the rodent so I can give him scuba swiming lessons?

mice--so maybe all rodents--HATE cloves, and won't go near em. easier than catch-and-kill.
that's news, mice ate a pooh-poorie dollie at the lake last winter, all cloves ..
In my younger days I left a Marlboro pack FULL of "special" hand rolled cigarettes stashed away in a lawnmower shop I worked at.
Friggin rats ate almost the whole damn thing.
They has some party that w/e!
peanut butter with sunflower seeds.
If you put a trap wired open outside it will make them more comfortable (and likely)going into the trap that's not wired open.
You shouldn't use peanut butter until they determine the brands that are affected by salmonella. You'll get the little critters sick. ;)...The unspoken word is capital. heaven forbid they have peanut allergies ;)
"Tomcat" rat & mouse bars work too. Just nail the blocks up out of reach of the dogs. you have to nail 'em down or the rodents will just carry them off & bury them.

Mice seem to love oatmeal. I've given up trying to trap the little bastids and let my pro poison them. If I was to try again I think I'd try mixing oatmeal with peanut butter, or I'd try making it, forming into little balls to let it harden, and then superglue to the trap. I'd think squirrels would be similar, just take some small birdseed balls and superglue to the trap so they have to work at it and get it to spring..
Cousin Eddie has a dog named Snot that'll get that little bugger for ya. Better be careful though, ol' Snot's got a little bit of Mississippi Leg Hound in him if you get my drift. Once he gets started its best to just let him finish.
Clark
Love your screen name but mostly gotta' laugh at Cousin Eddie's dog's name.
Mine is named Booger, really! He's cute, too. See profile....The unspoken word is capital. We can invest it or we can squander it. -Mark Twain...Be kind to your children....they will choose your nursing home....aim low boys, they're ridin' shetland ponies !!
Snot and Cousin Eddie are famous for the movie Christmas Vacation. Snot chased a squirrel through Clarks house destroying it when it came out of the christmas tree.
Most of what I posted was a quote of Cousin Eddie when he first introduces Clark to Snot.
Booger is a great name.
squirells are supposed to hate moth balls
about 6 months ago i was driven crazy with coons and asked here for help seems they like apples and peanut butter alo large marshmellows
i live trapped more than a dozen at which point i quit counting and bought another trap , would you believe i never caught another one , they must of figgered i was getting too serious about the whole thing!
i'm thinking of going "karl" from caddyshack. if I lose the house that's what insurance is for, correct?
I've live trapped them with walnuts. I just took them to the park and let them go.
There's no reason to kill them unless you are going to eat them.
I still think they have a ruff time of it when you re-locate them.
