got 12V drill with 3 good batts for $6 at garage sale, had been left out in rain, frozen clutch and motor.
OK, disassembled, cleaned, removed internal rust, etc. Runs great except the torque clutch setting are still feeble (no function originally) – thought I cleaned them up real good, but clutch still not what a new drill acts like — too much lube on them? .
Anybody fixed these, any specific tricks? I’ll dissemble again and fix one way or another, never met any used tool not repairable yet, lotsa cams in that puppy.

Orbital type thrust bearing RIGHT aft of the chuck, is it free?
The Morphine s eems to do no good at all..I'd run all the way if I would not fall...
BTW, I don't ever use the clutch ( heard a rumour, tha once you do, it will die) ...is it the old LONG battery? If so , I'll buy the whole thing from you..I have the drill, new charger, and one good batt...steel case and all..
or will wheel and deal if you want mine..the new batt is 59.00..at Lowes. Need parts?
