Dewalt Nano Tools – Where are they?
I’ve looked around on the web and searched through the forums here, even asked random Lowes/HD tool people when they expect to start carrying the new DeWalt 18/28/36V Nano cordless gear…and I get zilch info.
Sole exception to this is that our local HD does carry the single 18v Nano cordless drill, but no kits or anything else. Now I have seen the kits for all 3 voltages on sale on Ebay for months now, so what is the deal? Are they just waiting to clear out all the old XRP cordless stock?
Hopefully someone on these forums can clue me in, thanks in advance!

Dewalt is hoping to blow through loads of the XRP stuff, but do offer a hammerdrill, impact, sawzall, and light. I think the hammerdrill and impact are slightly redesigned and upgraded.
I know that Western Tool Supply carries them. You can buy individuals, hammer+impact, or the 4-piece kit. Also available are the retrofit kit of 1 battery and a charger for your current 18v stuff.
Dewalt's prices for this stuff is still expensive. New plastic molds have the smaller footprint, regardless of NiCD or Li-Ion.
And yes, I do work at the tool store at the moment, that's the only reason I know.
