I recently picked up some dimmable, low-watt bulbs for my kitchen cans. These have the squiggly tube enclosed inside a conventionally shaped flood bulb. Brand name is Ecosmart. 16 watt bulb that is supposedly equivalent to 75 watt conventional incandescent. I like them a lot, they actually seem a little brighter than their 75 watt counterpart in the next can over. I think I got them at HD.
