I have a dishwasher that is a corner cabinet away from the sink drain. Should the drain line be run under the corner cabinet (toe kick area) or in the corner cabinet across the back? How high or low?

Across the top of the corner cabinet, underneath the countertop. This will prevent siphoning of the DW when draining.
You might check your building department. Some localities enforce the installation of an air gap in the DW drain line to prevent siphoning.

Probably the same difference. Run it up the back and across. Or run it across and then up.If you loop it high at one end or along the run you get the save affect..

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Thanks for the advice.
I have a similar situation. I ran the drain line under the floor into the crawl space. I'm sure this isn't code worthy but it works just fine. My alternative is to run it in the toe space. Up under the countertop isn't an option neither is "behind" the adjacent cabinets.
It still needs to run up to the bottom of the countertop in the kitchen sink cabinet.
Just a suggestion: Don't run the line into the garbage disposal. Run it into a Y adapter before the trap instead.
I've found that you can sometimes have a "soup" back up in the sink when you run the diswasher and the garbage disposal isn't completely clear.
