I’ve got an EIFS situation like this. My design has it as a wainscot accent mostly, and on one elevation as about half of the area, with wood siding and trim being everywhere else. New construction, 1150 sf in total, and absolutely no “money walls.” I am building new construction in Lake Placid, New York, a long way from any EIFS contractors. No one I have talked to wants to do this little cut up job. I am thinking qualifying myself as an applicator by going to the requisite class, and doing it myself. Can anyone tell me any success stories that involve do-it-yourself EIFS?
