We have framed many types of ceilings in the past including barrel vaults. We need to find out how to frame a dome ceiling with a circular tray below. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think Joe Fusco posted picts of a domed ceiling job back before the change -
Try "Rough Framing" by Mark Currie. At the end of the book he shows how to build an elliptical ceiling. Imagine an egg cut in half. You should be able to adapt his method to your ceiling. In my area, you can check it out at the library and I have seen the book at Border or Barnes and Noble. It's well worth the money. Also, try http://www.joefusco.com and go to the discussions area and post this question. Joe will be able to explain it really well.
