Looking for suggestions on fixing exterior door jamb without removing the jamb. the door was kicked in when lockset froze during earthguake.

2-part wood epoxy works pretty good at making cosmetic repairs and I've done that for an interior door, but I can't imagine that the damage to an exterior door is merely cosmetic.
There is no way to repair wood and maintain it's structural integrity without replacing it... at least a section of it.
