how do you combat that little bit of light that always seems to creep through in the corners of pre-hung doors…the little bit of sticky fur that they give you with the door works to an extent but i want something better that that…any brand of door that doesn’t have this problem?

If there is I havent found one yet. I buy mine aftermarket as they are better, thicker, and more durable. Try this site out:

Where there's a will, there are 500 relatives
The doors I use come with stick on foam wedges that look similar to what Bambam pictured. The thicker part of the wedge installs behind the door weather strip to hold the weather strip out a bit. I put a dab of clear adhesive caulk in the very bottom corner before I install the wedge to help insure a seal and make sure the wedge stays in place. I install these after the painter is done so they won't get paint on them.
