I’ve installed several entrance doors recently, all of which had the soft weather seal. Basically, I like the soft seal, but setting the latch has become an ongoing nightmare. When you think you’ve got it right, the occasional “door-slammer” will come through and close the door so tightly that the little pin drops into the latch. It seems like the latch is either too tight or too loose. Does anyone have a tip for setting these things? BTW, I actually have bought a magnetic replacement seal that I’m going to try.
