Who’ve thought there even was such a thing? Last weekend I was trying to wind down from a long period of stress at work and decided to do some mindless sightseeing. I stumbled upon The Mike Weaver Drain Tile Museum in Geneva, NY. It’s small and fills only one room, and contains about 350 samples of drain tile mostly from its introduction to America in 1835 to the early 1900s, but had two samples circa 100 BC, one from Smyrna and one from Ephesus.
Now I’m probably the only one on this forum who can say they’ve been to such a historically important place!
