New question,fellas….
When we had the bathroom reno done, all taps were replaced with ceramic disk types(the first we’d ever had).So far,so good. After a couple of months just one of the taps(hot water) over the bath started to drip, but only intermittently. We used to turn it on quickly, then off,and the dripping stopped for sometimes weeks. Now it’s dripping(into a catching bucket…) all the time, and the above ‘trick’ isn’t working.
We thought that ceramic disk taps couldn’t drip. Is there a chance that this one was damaged when installed/in the manufacture? What can be done without replacing the whole tap ?(We’re in a drought and bucket watering is the norm, but this is ridiculous!!)
Thanks again for your much appreciated help.

Replace the cartridge and/or seals.
I don't know about in Austraila, but in the US most of the newer style of faucets have lifetime warantee. Call up the company and they will send a replacment cartridge.
If you have stop valves under the sink shut them off and remove the cartridge. Then turn the water back on for a could of seconds will come one holds a cup inverted over the hole.
Some times you will get dirt in in and this will flush it out.
But if it is damaged then it needs to be replaced.
I installed a new Moen for a friend and within a short time it started dripping. So called and they sent a free replacement cartridge. But by the time it arrived the faucet stopped dripping.
