I’m putting some tile in a shower. 8″ x 10″ pieces, the tile is being installed using a adhesive, I am installing the tile over a solid core impermeable, none porous material. I re-worked a couple of tile pieces that had been in place for a few days and found the adhesive to be pretty wet still, (the bathroom is not being used). The edges were getting firm but the center was still pretty soft. Anyone have any experience with drying times under these conditions. I’m wondering how long I will need to let the adhesive dry before grouting.
