My house for the most part sits on clay soil, there is some house movement with expansion and contaction. I have vertical corner cracks from floor to ceiling of both side of a wall that’s perpendicular to exterior wall. Mud had been applied but the cracks reappeared. has anybody used paintable sealant for corner cracks? I believe the sealant would be flexible enough to accomodate movements, but when spraying texture, will it stick to sealant? what kind of sealant would you recommend? Or applying fiberglass mesh a better route? any suggestions?
thanks

I've used siliconized acrylic latex caulk successfully. It leaves the corner slightly radiused, but no one notices. It probably won't hold for decades, but I put some in a problem corner about 10 years ago and it's still fine.
2nd for trying simple latex caulk here. Mud is too brittle.
Coatings will stick to it fine.
There is flexible mud. I've never tried it, but I have seen it. Caulk is probably best, but it will eventually shrink and crack.
