Question for the drywall contractors, anybody using the radius 360 drywall sander? How good are they and what are the pros & cons. I haven’t seen them up here in Canada. Thanks

The radius 360 is a really, really nice tool if you can get excited about sanding drywall. I bought one to try it and then bought many more.
The only thing I don't like about it is that the sandpaper sticks too hard to the velcro on the backer pad. If you don't grab both of them and hang on tight with your fingers, you will rip the backer pad right off the sander.
I talked with the sales people and they said they had gotten a lot of complaints about that, but the last one I bought was just the same as the first one!
Thanks for the info, I can't say i really get excited about sanding, they claim this sander cuts down on your sanding time so that would definatly interest me. How much board can you finish sand on one sheet and what grit works best?
I top everything off with Plus 3 because it sands easily and I like the way it finishes. I only buy 100grit and 150 grit. That pretty much takes care of all your needs. Their sandpaper lasts a long time. It comes in packs of 25.
This tool is light years better than a normal pole sander. It's almost impossible to gouge your wall.
