Does anyone remember a few months back, an advertisement for a company that manufactures a product which allows the passage of air ducts through joists and maintains structural integrity and strength? It is a sheet metal product that essentially replaces the section that is removed while allowing a duct to pass through. We have a duct routing problem and I am not willing to lower the entire ceiling which is the proposed solution. Any other ideas welcome. Thanks.
