Hi all. I am looking to buy a dust collector for my home shop/renovation business. I am looking for something mobile, yet powerful enough to collect from tools such as a thickness planer. Anyone have some advice on brands, size etc? Thanks.

Harbor Freight's 2 bagger ( no, it's not ugly) is a perfectly good unit, often on sale for 179.00..110v plenty good for 2 4" runs.
It's the hose/pipe/blast gates that add up fast. You can always add after market fine filter bags, but it really works fine out of the box.
Not much diff. in any of them at that size..all made in Taiwan or China, just diff names.

Get one of these:

And hook it up to one of these:

It is mobile enough to take it to the job site if you need to.
