Putting the finishing touches on my place before I decide to sell it or rent.
I’ve got Electric Baseboard heat. The house was built in a time when the local electric company gave builders a rebate equal to the cost of the system if they installed electric heat.
As you can imagine, my electric meter is spinning around like a CD-R drive today. Has been for the last two weeks.
Any advice on what Electric baseboards to install? I’m getting ready for new carpet and want to do the baseboards at the same time. Is any one brand more efficient than any other? Anyone have a favorite?

There is absolutely no difference in the efficiency of different resistance heating units. The differences would be appearance (obviously), overall quality, ease of installation, and (significant in some cases) how the vents are arranged to distribute the heat into the room.
You could consider unitized heat pump (like motel AC - noisy) or a packaged HP that is easily DIY for 2.5X reduction in future energy costs.
However, with "sell it or rent", just re-install the existing units, re-paint with engine block paint if they look cruddy now.
No profile info, where are you located? Installed a HP for a house my mother has and got a $500 rebate from the local power company for a packaged HP unit that only cost $1400 out of pocket to install (plus about 2 days labor, used flex duct).
