Is there an electric chainsaw that’s worthwhile? I see that Huqvarna makes one that seems pretty stout. Are there others?. I want one that I can use inside.

From what I have read in chainsaw oriented forums, Makita is right there at the top.
I inherited a 16" WEN electric chain saw from my father. Used it when I demoed a deck, to cut stacks of 2x6 to firewood length. It zipped right thru the stuff, some of which was hard, and some extremely wet.

did alot of research a year or so ago !
Stihl was the electric that looked the most like a real gas saw.( good specs)
Husqy was the most interesting tool IE not a chainsaw but an extended recip
Milwaukee had good specs but was not availlable in Can
Didn't buy any because the job downtubed but at the time I had decided on the Stihl
The Husky is a great saw .......... well made, compact and plenty of power and a little pricey but you get what you pay for.
Tried both Jonsered and Stihl....liked 'em both...timber/log notching ....very nice....
If it is to be, 'twil be done by me..
