Our electrical service entrance did not pass inspection due to this comment. Need to get expandable sleeve for conduit. We assume they mean for the 3 inch underground PVC entrance conduit and not the ground cable conduit. We live in Wyoming Seismic zone 1.
We have not been able to find such a part. Any clues for us?

How long is your conduit run? For long runs or runs exposed to sizeable temperature swings, expansion joints are required since PVC moves a lot over temp. An example of what I'm talking about can be found at Carlon's website (http://www.carlon.com). Look up "expansion joints". They have material online about installing them and determining when they're needed.
Of course if the inspector says they're needed... they're needed... whether they're needed. :-)

Note that for seismic protection a better approach might be a length of flex bent in an S shape (or replacing an existing elbow).
