I am in the process of putting in six ceiling lights that I want to control with 2 pairs of 3 way switches (3 lights per pair). All lights will be on the same breaker.
Can I share one neutral between each pair of switches, i.e. run a 3 wire cable for 2 travelers and the shared neutral and a 2 wire cable for the travelers for the second pair of switches?
Thanks!

No.
The basic concept is that in any cable or conduit the same amount of current should be flowing in one direction as that flowing in the other direction.
If you where running it in conduit you could do that, but not with cable.

Bill speaks the truth. (Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.)
The clock is in a satellite in a geosynchronous orbit. Thus it is always correct..
