Unless palladium, osnium, or heavly gold plated (doubtful, but done on aircraft and spacecraft) , rotating contacts that are mostly static (unlike always moving alternator brushes or motor commutators) have a poor reliability history. Would never put one of those in own house or shop.
Of course they don't really say they'll rotate more than 360 degrees (even though the animation implies this). Could just be flex wiring (which has it own problems, of course).--------------

Convention says ground down; safety says ground up. I wired the shop ground up, and am glad I did when the roof was off and someone dropped something that knocked the ext. cord out of the recepticle and actually broke the ground plug. If it was ground down it would have been fireworks!
