   That glue is thermoplastic. Use the wife's hair dryer if you don't have a heat gun, to soften it up and then scrape it right off. It'll peel easy.

   no - you have to scrape, not pound. That can ruin a blade.or was U joking?

   Had a saw for a year and haven't set it up!! you should be reported to Tool Social Services and have that child removed from your home, and put in a foster home that would use it, nurture it and help it be a real saw.
   Shame on you you tool neglecter
   I've heard about people like you but never have seen on come out of the closet online!
   Frankly I'm shocked your wife/neighbors haven't reported you yet.

   I'm not sure I agree with the others; this might cause a tragic accident.  Better send it to me for extensive testing.
