enclosing insulation under the building
I just finished putting up 1/2″ PT plywood to enclose the underside of a small cabin. The building is up on posts on a sloped site, with no enclosed crawl space just 2-4′ of space between the building and the ground. The plywood will keep the fiberglass insulation in place, but I’m worried about the occasional 1/16 – 1/4″ gap between the plywood sheets and around the drain pipes. Is there something else I should add to seal out small critters or insects? thanks!

I would use some heavy duty screening on these areas. It will keep out the critters and also give the space a little ventilation. Best regards. Dale Buchanan
