I’d like to know if it is possible to enhance stone (in this case marble) tile after it has been sealed — I have a slight challenge — my tile guy put down a honed marble floor and sealed it — the challenge is that I would have liked to have the marble enhanced — is there anyway I can enhance it after it has been sealed — don’t know the brand of sealer that he used…
if that’s not possible can you reverse the sealing process — ie hit it with something else that will remove the sealer ?
As always thanks for all the insights — the folks on these forums rock….

I use a product called "Ager" made by Tenax as a color enhancer for stone. If you look up Braxton Bragg on the internet they sell it for about fifty bucks a liter and that would probably seal 100's of sq ft.
I haven't thought on it much but I always figured a color enhancing sealer didn't so much penetrate into the stone but filled small scratches and pores semi permanently giving the stone a long lasting "wet look"
Depending on the sealer it might still work for you. I would call up the manufacturer of the sealer and get their advice.

good idea on calling the sealer manufacturer - believe it or not hadn't thought of that -- thanks...I guess sometimes the obvious solutions ain't so obvious
