About 15 years I put Entran Tubing for radiant heat in my basement floor. I never finished the system. Recently I started gathering the parts to finish the installation and found that the company, Heatway, that sold the stuff has gone bankrupt. Goodyear, the manufacturer, of the tubing recently lost a class action lawsuit due to product failure.
Does any have any experience with Entran radiant tubing?
Are failures of the tubing common?

I can't help you with the litigation news jake, but would appreciate you keeping this thread informed as to your findings. About 15 yrs ago I installed Twintran from Heatway. There was a chance the same product failure could occur and I was near panic. I did make contact with the fine folks at Heatway and they seemed to think that with my product in use for a good period of time, the problems should have appeared. I registered with them to rcv updates I think, but have not heard other than the suit was decided in favor of the supplier, that is, no responsibility.
It was a real kick in the teeth to a good group of people there at Heatway. They did what they could initially to remedy the failure with complete replacement costs. However, that took all they had including the company evidently. I'm hoping I was spared the bad product, so far all visible tube is okay.
