I first heard about this borate version treated wood over 5 years ago and there’s even a FH article on it: http://fwd4.me/4Aw But I have yet to see it in my area (Charleston, SC) and I get the idea it’s not widely distributed. It’s supposed to be as long lasting as cca or acq without the environmental/health issues. I think it’s not qualified for below ground use yet and maybe that’s the major issue. Manufacturer’s info sounds almost too good to be true. Has anyone here ever used it?
