We are about to wrap up our new kitchen and are debating whether to mount the cabinet pulls (7″ in length) in an all horizontal orientation. I like the look but am unsure of the ergonomics after repeated use. My concern is with the doors of the uppers and lowers, not so much the drawers which are usually horizontal anyway.Has anyone lived with this type of all horizontal installation of cabinet pulls?
Thanks

I've done them both ways and it seems to work fine either way. I've even done door hardware vertically with horizontal drawer pulls. It's really just a matter of which orientation looks best to you.
The biggest downside is that once you've installed them, you're sorta stuck with them. Your pulls are attached with two screws and changing the orientation would require trying to hide a screw hole - and that's difficult. - lol
