I am considering switching my estimating to Excel since I am not pleased with the program I am currently using. I have done some research on this, but I have one basic, stupid question… does Excel have the ability to store your pricing database, or does it have to be linked to a separate database? I just want one program that I can enter all my own pricing data into and then use it… I don’t want pre-assembled databases.
