Howdie,
I posted this over on knots too.
Ever use any of these?

Do they work well? I guess Rockler wants $10 for a set of four.
I figure you could save some steps in the cabinet construction. No need to notch out for the toe kick. Just build a plywood box. Might save on plywood too.
These leveler feet also come with plastic snaps that go on the back of a separate toe kick piece. Would make it handy if you ever have to get under the cabinet. Maybe hide valuables underneath. Whatever…
Thanks

chills, i've installed a couple canadian kitchens and baths with those feet. One, the toe kick was solid. The others, kind of flopped around. Easier to level for sure unless you get the shorties. The boxes I used them on they were pretty tall.
thats all I know.

We've not used the kind shown at the Rocker site, with the thru hole and the stud access through the floor of the cab.
We've only used those by Hafele, I believe that was the maker. They are slightly different, with feet you can readily turn with a screwdriver straight blade. Same toe clip arrangement. But no thru hole in the carcase bottoms.
You can get them at a better price if you shop around.
Use them a lot -- different brand, but same principle. They work slick.
Much cheaper at any wholesale cabinet hardware outlet.
The Dacor cabinets I've installed come with these legs. I install a 3/4 x 4" or 4 3/4" strip of ply level on the wall where the base cabinets go. Then I install the front legs on the cabinet and set the cabinet on the strip. You only need to use 2 legs on most cabinets.
I've used those exact feet and I am sold on them because shims slid and move and you get to start over.
These you can level up a lower cab. get the position marked (when you have an upper above it that has to line up) and slide it aside and install the upper without haveing to lean over the lower.
My plumber like them because he can run the fridge lines and such under the cab. and thru them. I like that because he drill lots of ugly holes.
Hope they work out for you too. Mike
Thank you everybody for your input.
Still wondering if anyone ever cobbled anything up. I guess if you can go through a wholesaler it would save you enough money that time putting something together wouldn't be worth it.
These are great to use. Very simple to adjust.
