Hey all,
I just got the roof on a home I’m building up here in western Washington, and in the time it has taken to frame and sheet it the weather has been very wet. Consequently I have noticed green spots of mold starting to grow on the sheeting and on some of the framing lumber. Is this a cause for concern? or will it cease to grow once the moisture level drops. Also what are some good ways to get this place on the fast track to drying out?

I would say yes, but then again I have no basis for such a statement. Still, I take it there isn't a dry season up there? Anyway, how far along is the construction? Are there windows and doors? Not sure if you can superheat the shell prior to drywalling.
I'm not sure about the mold--that's an area of expertise in itself. However, I would recommend running a dehumidifier such as a DrizAir after you get the windows and doors in. It will remove a lot of moisture. Monitor the humidity level as you go, but you might plan on running it periodically until the project is done. You can rent those units at rental yards.
A lot of people think that using a 'salamander' type propane heater will help. It actually makes it worse.
