MDO is ply faced with a thin paper that is exterior grade. Any cuts that go beneath the paper line will be just like regular ply. So, MDO is not a good idea.
Are you sure you really want to use ply? A bevel cut (especially a steep angle) make for an unattractive edge and a bad paint holding capabilities.
