In a quest to find solutions for my Habitat blitz build, I was talking to a drywaller about speeding up the process. He talked to someone who helped with an Extreme Home Makeover and they used a commercial air dryer to accelerate the drying of regular drywall mud. He said after the first coat, they would turn this machine on and it would pull all the moisture out of the air. If you stayed in the house, you could feel your skin dry out. The would go to lunch and come back and be ready for the next coat of mud. Anyone know more about this machine?

Here's a big one. http://www.sylvane.com/ebac-free-star-dehumidifier.html
Why not just use hot mud instead? Get some 90 minute "Easy Sand" compound and go from there. Seems like getting an expensive dehumidifier or using fans and heat would be a chore.
