we have a roof re-do planned for spring. simple 50s bungalow. previous owner had removed all gutters due to ice forming on long warm side so each time it rains and snow thaws we have put up with water pouring off the front roof over the entry step. soffits are 3′ wide with a lot of ventilation. add effective ridge vents and there is now no problem with ice build up. still prefer no gutters. is an eyebrow on this roof pitch possible, just to keep running water away from entry step?

3/12 is a pretty low pitch to install an eyebrow on, not that it could'nt be done. I think the eye would look more like a wink than you like
Thanks. I am now leaning more toward a long vertical hill ending at the fascia rather an eyebrow. Trying to picture a low slope over the entry way and how to trim out.
What about an eyebrow front porch or just a forward facing gable with a small front porch?

Thanks Matt. The low eyebrow over the entry is where I'm headed. Still working on getting a picture to post, too.
