Good news is my ICF & SIP house is exceptionally tight, so I really do need active ventilation. I am looking for a HRV with an aluminum core and low noise. The Fantech and Lifebreath HRVs are candidates. Any suggestions or cautions on these units would be appreciated.

I've got a Fantech booster fan on my dryer vent. Has worked flawlessly with heavy use for 6 years.
