Is it best to use a biscuit joiner to attach jamb extensions to windows and doors. Craig Savage in his “Trim Carpentry Techniques” uses shims to nail the jamb extension to the trimmers. It seems that using a biscuit joiner would work very well here and make a very neat job.

I use trim screws and glue.
Where do the screws go. Do they go to the trimmer or through the jamb extension to window jamb.

Into window jamb slightly off center towards trimmer, so casing will cover and still have 1/4" -3/16" reveal.
i have not tried it but it sounds like an excellent idea. go for it!
Biscuits would work well. Don't forget the gravy (Titebond).
