Hi everyone. I have a neighbor who asked me to fix her leaking faucet (drip at the spout). The faucet is a price pfister 4 inch center set lavatory faucet. I am pretty familiar with Delta.
Can anyone hazard a guess as to whether it has washers or cartridges? Faucet is probably a few years old.
Thanks.

A lot of the parts will interchange.
It's most likely a cartridge, look up the exploded view on Price Pfister's web site. I'm pretty sure there's a lifetime guarantee on those parts. Call their 800 number and find out.
where is it leaking???

Thanks all for the advice and replies.
I checked out the website, and that helped.

As you've probably figured out, P Pf has a lifetime warranty, as do most major fixture suppliers now, and they are generally ceramic valves. These shouldn't fail that often, but I've had one of mine do so (American Standard). I precluded a down time waiting for the warranty parts by making a claim before I had a failure for the parts I predicted might fail. I was right. So sue me, but I have a spare on hand.
