Does anybody know how a feed through switch works? Leviton rotary in line type for lamps. Seems like if it feeds through it couldn’t break the circuit. I sure can’t get the ones I have to break the circuit. Using 18/2 wire. thanks rl36

You talking about that little brown plastic thumbwheel that attahes to the lamp cord?
You have to cut the hot wire where it goes into the switch.
