Hi. I’m considering a patio door with sidelites from Atrium, and they seem to be the only one who makes what I want (vented sidelites).
But my contractor said he’s not fond of Atrium.
Can anyone else give me feedback on Atrium – especially as it pertains to their patio doors?
Are they good? Junk? Prone to problems? I do live in New England, so I can expect the full range of humidity, temperatures, and weather.
Should I avoid this product, or should I just chalk this up as one man’s opinion and say, “Thank you but I think I’ll order this just the same?”
Thanks.

Greetings Ola,
That subject has been addressed here on Breaktime a number of different times in the past.
In the event you fail to receive the information you desire, you might find it in the archives.
If you scroll down in the lower left corner of your screen there is a search function that will take you to previous threads dealing with whatever you type in the search bar.
If you type in 'Atrium' you'll get a supply of data from those old threads.
Cheers
Hi there. Actually, I tried to do that, but mostly got a lot of discussions relating to atriums or atrium doors (lower case), not necessarily anything of substance on Atrium (brand) doors...There was one thread where someone asked about Atrium (brand) doors which really just devolved into a general discussion about the apparently overall poor quality of anything that comes from Home Depot, even if it's a brand carried elsewhere with a good reputation.Do you know of any particular discussion threads regarding the quality of this brand?I just can't seem to find another company that seems to make a vented sidelite- which is really just what I'm after... and I need to be within a reasonable budget so the $10,000 custom door someone recommended is pretty far out of the question. : )Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Well, if you might want to run it by the folks at the JLC forum. Worth a shot.
