My sister-in-law lives in the midwest and is getting some quotes on replacement windows and a patio door, (for a town home). She wanted my feedback, but I had never heard of the manufacturer. That doesn’t mean much, but I wondered if anyone had heard of “Sunrise Windows”? The website says they are located in Michigan. The stats they provide look impressive, but I am more interested in anyone’s first-hand experience. I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has or does use this name brand. thanks!

I've installed sunrise on a few homes before. What can I say they're a cheap low-e white vinyl window. Never had any call backs on them or any other vinyl windows that I've done.

thank you, that's what I am looking to discover.
I would avoid if at all possible vinyl windows. Used them in the past and had to replace them all. They warp and break. I would go with a wood/aluminium clad window.
Hope this help
How long ago did you install vinyl? What brand or brands? What climate did you install them in? I'm planning on installing some and appreciate specific feedback.
Thanks!Any jackass can kick down a barn, but it takes a carpenter to build one.
We had our old wooden windows replaced about, best I can remember, 15 years ago and they are still like new. Almond color, double hung, two pane, tilt in to clean. That last feature was new then.
A local company that is still in business put them in.
All I can read on them is ALI PSI P2A 88-4
You know what our weather is, a mixture of all. We have been to -12F and to 107F for days on end and the sun beats on them. Not much moisture to hit them here as we are dry, dry, dry. The wind blows all the time.
I hope this helps.

The vynil windows were installed in 2001. After a year the were warped and would not close correctly. I do not remember the name of the company, I beleive it was a big National brand.
I live in Pittsburgh, Pa.
I will always recommend a wood frame with aluminium clad had them in a house that I own in Elgin Illinois. They were Pella windows and I was very happy with them.
In my new home my new wife wanted to save money we went the cheap way and a year later the vynil windows were in the trash with new Pella windows put in.
Hope this help.
Any other question e-mail me and I will do my best to help
